- I do a thorough assessment.
- I give a complete explanation of the procedure to be done.
- I answer questions about the procedure to your satisfaction.
- I carefully perform the treatment and adjust the procedure as needed to maximize your level of comfort.
- I assess the outcome of the treatment and discuss it with you.
- I teach you methods of self care to augment your level of independence.
- I make recommendations for your increased health and level of well being.
Eastern Medicine Treatments
- An initial visit is approximately 1½ hours, which includes the initial intake assessment.
- Subsequent visits are approximately one hour.
- I do not charge by time but by treatment.
- Nor do I charge by modality of treatment, each treatment is a single cost regardless of whether it is acupuncture, herbal prescription or massage.
- Herbal formulas can be purchased at a Chinese Herbal Pharmacy, or can be mailed to you.
- Home treatments and in-office treatments are both available.
- Please do not hesitate to inquire about sliding scale if cost is a barrier; I strive to make my services as accessible as possible.
Western Medicine Treatments
- Each visit is individualized to the needs of the patient and their doctor’s orders.
- The client needs an order from their doctor for any nursing procedure or treatment before I can work with them.
- The doctor should be sure to specify the frequency and duration of medically necessary treatments.
